This redneck fish camp is on the wet side of the levee in Mound City. When the river rises people have to clear out. Shacks on empty barrels are tied to the trees so they don’t float off. When the water eventually recedes, its party-on once again. I used debris left behind by this year’s spring floods. The river gives up all sorts of stuff. You’d be surprised. It’s not just old soda bottles. The trees are made from cottonwood bark. I found the Boat Six sign floated up, it was really dirty. “Not responsible for accidents of any kind,” so be careful.
